We collect only what is needed to operate the Awards.

• Account details — name, email address and country
• Nomination content — nominee information, justification and supporting evidence
• Voting records — which award you voted in, to prevent duplicate voting
• Enquiries — the details you provide when you contact the Secretariat

Why we collect it

Information is used to assess nominations, verify and count votes, respond to enquiries, and communicate about the edition you have taken part in.

Lawful basis

We process information to deliver the service you have asked for, to meet our legitimate interest in running a fair recognition process, and with your consent where consent is required.

Sharing

Nomination material is shared only with those assessing it under confidentiality. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Retention

Information is kept for as long as needed to run the edition it relates to and to maintain the permanent record of recognition, then removed or anonymised.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it.

Security

Access to nomination and account information is restricted to those who need it for assessment or support.
