Our commitments in handling nomination, voting and enquiry information.

    Purpose limitation

    Information submitted to the Awards is used only for the purpose it was given: assessing nominations, verifying and counting votes, and answering enquiries.

    Minimisation

    We ask only for what is needed to assess a nomination or verify a vote. Nothing is collected speculatively.

    Confidentiality of nominations

    Nomination material, including supporting evidence and references, is treated as confidential and is seen only by those assessing it.

    Voting confidentiality

    Individual votes are never published or disclosed to nominees, partners or third parties.

  5. 05

    Accuracy

    You can ask for information held about you to be corrected at any time, and we encourage nominators to keep their contact details current.

  6. 06

    Retention and removal

    Personal information is retained for the edition it relates to and the permanent recognition record, then removed or anonymised.

  7. 07

    Access and objection

    You may request access to your information, object to how it is processed, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it.
